THE DIXIE OAKS GOLF CLUB

The Dixie Oaks Golf Club is a short five mile drive from Whispering Pines. The only way to describe the Dixie Oaks Golf Club is that it is a "hidden gem". Yes, it's a little bit off the "beaten path", but its well worth the few extra minutes to get there.

Joe Gobble, owner and avid golfer, continues to demonstrate his commitment to make Dixie Oaks one of the most interesting and finest golf experiences around. Improvements include: better fairways; better greens; new cart paths and new signage. In addition, several holes have been realigned to facilitate and add interest to play and a new lake has been built. Joe expects Dixie Oaks to be spectacular.

LOCATION

Dixie Oaks Golf Club is nestled among the gently rolling hills of southern middle Tennessee near the Amish community in Summertown. Take US 43 south from Columbia and make a right on TN20. After about 1.9 miles, bear left at the Summertown market (TN240) and drive about a mile making a left on Buffalo Rd. Then proceed 1.8 miles making a left on Pleasant Gardens Road. The Dixie Oaks Golf Club is about a mile down the road on the left. The natural beauty and challenging course combine to make a top-notch golfing experience. FACILITIES

Dixie Oaks is an eighteen hole par 72 course. The championship layout has bent grass greens, complimented by Bermuda fairways and white sand bunkers. Practice facilities include a driving range and putting green.
